Another busy weekend. Last week - 2 sold out shows with the Firebird Singers. This week - a nice local wedding (on drums), band call for next week's show, and a little jazz gig on piano in Brum 🎶

Great wedding venue this weekend, down in the Cotswolds. Lovely people and especially lovely labradors at the adjacent house. Also, my new piano arrived! So nice to finally have the real thing after all these years playing on my Casio 🎹😄

3 super gigs this week... Played vibraphone at Peggy's Skylight in Nottingham on Thursday (with Matt Ratcliffe, Jim Bashford and Toby Carpenter), absolutely delightful! Then played some drums for a junior doctors shindig on Saturday, then Swingshift featuring Alex Clarke on Sunday. Still can't believe how lucky I am to be able to make a living playing music🙏🏻

A couple more contrasting gigs last weekend. One wedding in a castle near Swansea, next to a beautiful nature reserve. The other was a retirement party in a barn somewhere in Derbyshire. We cover quite a few miles but are very lucky to be able to see all these different places🙏🏻
